Africa Street MBA Announces Top 10 Finalists For Flagship BESYG Program

In a bid to empower the youth and bridge the employability gap in Ghana, Africa Street MBA, a project of DONE BY US, in partnership with KGL Foundation, is thrilled to announce the selection of the top 10 finalists for the Building Employability Skills of Youth in Ghana (BESYG) program.

After a rigorous review of 198 applications from 12 regions across Ghana, the selection committee identified and shortlisted the top 10 candidates who demonstrated exceptional potential and enthusiasm for the program. The selected candidates are all female, representing a diverse range of backgrounds and skill sets. The BESYG program aims to equip young female unemployed graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance their employability and competitiveness in the global job market.

The top 10 finalists will undergo an intensive 2-day training program, focusing on transferable skills and key personal attributes highly valued by employers. Following the training, they will embark on a one-month paid internship with our partner companies, gaining hands-on experience and practical insights into the corporate world. This opportunity will not only enhance their skills but also provide a platform for them to network, build relationships, and potentially secure job opportunities after the internship.

Upon successful completion of the program, the candidates will receive a certificate from the prestigious London School of Public Relations Ghana (LSPR-GH), recognizing their enhanced skills and knowledge in employability.

“We are impressed by the quality of applications received and the potential of the selected candidates, we believe that the BESYG program will have a transformative impact on their lives and contribute to the growth of Ghana’s economy,” said  Mr. King A. Wellington, project lead.

Congratulations to the selected candidates! We look forward to their journey and the impact they will make in the corporate world.
